Whitney E. Arave

I have always had a fascination with photography, and it meshes so well with my personality with having to create something all of the time. When i'm behind the camera listening to the shutter slide open and close I truly am doing something that I love!

I grew up in Provo where in high school I was able to take my first photography classes and being so hands on in the dark room launched my obsession. I worked about a year at Sears Portrait Studio learning many lessons in getting children to smile. Then for just over 7 years I worked with Fotogenix making my way up to manager at their Syracuse location, learning SO many lessons along the way. I started Evara Studios when I was about 8 months pregnant with my daughter, and have never loved life more! 

Photography is my passion and I'm glad that I can share my talent with those who are willing to let me into their lives. I truly believe that anytime a portrait is taken a bond is created between the photographer and the subject. Allowing that person to capture your biggest insecurities and trusting them to portray you in your best light. 

I am always wanting to improve and grow in my skills and look forward to every challenge that comes my way!
